Award-winning DUNYA BELLY DANCE is dedicated to the diverse and artistic representation of Middle Eastern dance.
DUNYA meaning ‘world’ in Arabic, Turkish & other languages, represents our commitment to understanding people of different cultures, ethnicities and religions around the world. We aim to create a bridge of understanding through our common language – music and dance.
Co-Founders and Artistic Directors include Rosy Summerbell of Belly Dance Belles and Michelle Deniz Drouse of Belly Dance By Deniz. Our approach is to create opportunities to learn and be inspired by a variety of dance genres and share Middle Eastern / Oriental / belly dance through memorable choreographies and unique performances.
